Windows Vista - Access Denied When Accessing Shared Folder Over Network
Have you encountered error message Access is denied with error code 0x80070005 when trying to access a shared folder on Windows Vista? This error usually occurs if you try to share a root partition (C:, D:, E:, etc.).
Try this. On the host computer, right click my computer, choose Manage and then select Shared Folders > Shares. Right click the share name, and then choose properties.
In the properties dialog, go to Security tab, and click Edit in the permission dialog, click Add and enter Everyone in Select Users or Groups dialog. Then click OK.
In the permission dialog again, select the permissions for username Everyone that you just add before.
Click OK and wait for the permissions to be applied to the shared folder.

Hope this will solve your problem.
