If it is just you, then you might have a problem and you need to check your Internet configuration. Without any doubt, Halite is currently my favorite torrent client. Halite is a powerful and simple (in fact, too simple) torrent client, based on libtorrent library. The best thing is, Halite can bypass TMNet traffic shaping.

The latest version of Halite Torrent Client 0.3 was released. Halite Torrent is an alternative bittorrent client to bypass traffic shaping.

Halite (named after the mineral) is a C++ BitTorrent client based on the excellent libtorrent library from Rasterbar Software. The program also relies heavily on the Boost libraries.
